After a suggestion from a lovely lady on my Instagram we decided to visit Howe Park Wood today for Mother’s Day. I’m so glad we did as we had a lovely time and we hadn’t been in ages.
We took the dog too. Daisy enjoyed the play equipment, it’s nice and small so perfect for toddlers. She’s been learning to balance on logs the last week or so, she won’t let me hold her hand, Miss Confident, so I’m creeping up behind her to catch if she falls, nothing like having your heart in your mouth! She’s getting so good at it though bless her. Daisy also enjoyed looking at the Ducks in the pond.
We did a nice walk around the forest where we heard a woodpecker, how amazing. We then stopped off at the cafe for cake and a hot chocolate. They sell hot and cold food and have clean toilets and facilities.
